Last week on Friday 20th March, students at Wokingham Odyssey House School came together to celebrate Red Nose Day by letting their creative juices flowing and raising money for a great cause.
Highlight of the day was the “Design the Coolest, Craziest Red Nose” competition. Students were encouraged to use their imagination and creativity to design unique red noses.

The results were outstanding, with a wide variety of creative designs on display. These included character-inspired ideas such as a “spider-nose”, as well as colourful patterns, bold designs, and imaginative storytelling pieces.
Each design reflected the individuality and creativity of the students, showing a mix of playful ideas and thoughtful artistic expression.
The Red Nose Day activities were designed to be fully inclusive and engaging for all students. The competition supported key learning and development areas, including fine motor skills, creativity, and self-expression.
Students were able to take part in a way that suited their individual needs, helping to ensure everyone could enjoy and contribute to the day.
As well as being a fun and engaging event, the day also raised money for an important cause. Together, our school community raised £34.80 in support of Comic Relief, helping to make a difference to people facing poverty and hardship in the UK and around the world.
We are incredibly proud of all our students for embracing the day with such positivity, creativity and enthusiasm. Events like this highlight the importance of inclusion, self-expression and community, and it was wonderful to see everyone come together for such a meaningful occasion.
