Welcome to Odyssey House Bloomsbury!
We are thrilled to have been open for over a year now. I joined this exceptional team partway through the school year and am proud to be part of a group of dedicated educators, working with an inspiring, diverse, and talented cohort of children.
Our school was founded with a vision aligned with the broader Odyssey ethos, designed specifically for pupils who have found mainstream education challenging. We offer a bespoke, holistic, and therapeutic approach, informed by trauma-aware and evidence-based strategies, to support children aged 7 to 19. By integrating these practices, we ensure that every child’s emotional, psychological, and academic needs are addressed in a compassionate and structured manner, enhancing their ability to thrive.
We understand how crucial a safe and supportive environment is for our pupils. This is why our beautiful school setting holds such significance. Situated in a stunning Grade II listed property, overlooking Russell Square and just steps away from the British Museum, our school was fully refurbished to create an ideal learning space. With specialist classrooms and a low-sensory, nurturing environment, we are committed to creating a space where every child feels secure and empowered to grow.
The sense of community we cultivate is one of our greatest strengths. Parents and pupils alike appreciate the warm, inclusive atmosphere, which plays a central role in both their educational experience and personal development. Here, children are given not only the education they deserve, but also the care and support they need to reach their full potential.
