The Easter Fayre at our Wokingham campus last Friday was a vibrant and successful event, showcasing the creativity and hard work of our students. As part of their ASDAN lessons, students created a variety of products, which they proudly sold at the fayre. The event not only highlighted their skills but also gave them valuable experience in teamwork, communication and enterprise.
A Variety of Stalls
There was a fantastic range of stalls on offer. Visitors enjoyed delicious homemade cheese twists at the cheese twist stall, while the ever-popular bake sale stand tempted everyone with a mouth-watering selection of sweet treats. The” Cracking Desserts” stand was a particular highlight, offering beautifully presented sweet creations.
All Things Easter
A unique addition was the “Waddle Stop” stall, which brought plenty of smiles to attendees with its positive quote keychains, alongside sweet cones filled with chocolate eggs and marshmallows. There were also offered origami eggs, wooden decorated bunnies , and delicately painted mini eggs on sale.
Jupiter’s Eggstravaganza
The Easter raffle, Jupiter’s Eggstravaganza, also proved to be a big hit, with many excited participants hopping to win festive prizes.
The fayre was well supported by staff, students, and visitors, creating a lively and welcoming atmosphere throughout. Most importantly, all money raised will go towards supporting students’ end-of-year trips, making the event both enjoyable and meaningful.
